18 Indians leave for PoK to meet relatives

Jammu, Mar 13 (UNI) As many as 57 civilians, including 18 Indian citizens, who left for PoK from this side for the first time to meet their relatives across Line of Control (LoC), crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) from Chakkan-Da-Bagh of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources today said 39 PoK civilians returned to their home after completing their stay in Jammu and Kashmir. Altogether 97 civilians crossed Line of Control (LoC) through Poonch-Rawlakote bus service on Monday.

Official sources said from PoK, 40 civilians crossed LoC to enter Poonch. Of them, 15 came to meet their divided families while 25 locals returned after completing their month-long stay in PoK, sources said.

One killed,12 wounded as two dozen houses collapse in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 13 (UNI) One person was killed and 12 others wounded as more than two dozen houses collapsed due to heavy snowfall in overnight in the Kashmir valley, official sources said today. They said one Abdul Hamid was killed when a huge branch of chinar trees fell down due to heavy snowfall at Chandgam in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. All incoming and outgoing flights cancelled in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 13 (UNI) Air traffic in Kashmir remained suspended for the second day today as all the incoming and outgoing flights were today cancelled due to heavy snowfall. Official sources said no flight operated from Srinagar airport as over two feet of snow had accumulated on the runway which has also become slippery.
