Ahmedabad, Mar 12 (UNI) India's equipment bank Quipo Infrastructure Equipment Limited today inaugurated 'Centre of Excellence' for Asia business for 'Energy Rental solutions' at Chngoder near here.
Company Chairman and Managing Director Sunil Kanoria told mediapersons that Quipo offers gas-based energy rental solutions to capture part of growing power demand while offering customers with unique service of 'rental' as an alternative to buying it.
He said companies need not burden themselves with the purchase of huge equipment. Once a buoyant market for rentals was established, they may go in for rentals that will reduce their risks by a large margin and money would not get blocked, he said.
He said Quipo Energy rental provides modular gas power plant in robust steel containers with capability to recover waste heat into steam and refrigeration in order to bring down operating costs.
Quipos Energy Rentals also help save the sunk cost on civil work, permanent foundation, he said.
Mr Kanoria said Quipo Energy Rental is riding high on the back of technology platforms from Deutz Power System, Germany for the gas-based power generating equipments and Thermax Limited for waste heat recovery system.
He said Quipo equipments in containers are ideal to be placed off shore and on shore operating on natural gas to meet the captive demand of the station.
The company is armed with its unique technology to offer wide ranging options to diverse manufacturing industries, from chilled water to pharmaceuticals to medium pressure steam to paper and ceramic industries with reliable power generation, constantly driving cost down.
In Retail, Quipo power coupled with air conditioning from exhaust gas and jacket water will be a great boon for malls, hospitals, IT campuses where large tonne of refrigeration load is needed. ''Our equipments do not needed foundation and a powerhouse and can sit outside with no sunk cost from the customer,'' Mr Kanoria added.
