Centre sanctions Rs 55.24 lakh towards RGNDWM

Agartala, Mar 12 (UNI) The Union Rural Development Ministry has sanctioned Rs 55.24 lakh to Tripura for the computerisation of Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission (RGNDWM) in the state this fiscal.

This amount is against the total approved cost of Rs 157.84 lakhs for the computerisation project, a official release here today stated.

The grant is being provided under revised MIS guidelines during the year 2006-07 and the total fund released so far is Rs 102.29 lakh, the release added.

Fee collection agency to disrupt World Cup telecast

Chandigarh, Mar 10 (UNI) Prime Entertainment Network,a collection agency of several television channels has threatened to disrupt the coming World Cup cricket matches in hotels and restuarants, if these commercial establishments do not pay the license fee. The Network is the Collection Agency for ESPN, Star Sports, Star TV, ZEE Turner India Ltd and One Alliance for Punjab, Haryana, J and K, HP and Chandigarh.The Network is authorised to collect license fee from the commercial establishments like hotels, restuarants, showrooms.....
