Youth burnt alive over illicit relationship

Mahoba, Mar 11 (UNI) A youth was burnt alive after unidentified miscreants set him afire in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

The incident occurred in Pahreta under Kharela police station area, where the youth was murdered and later, his body was dumped in a well.

The body was recovered today and efforts were on to identify it, police said.

Prima-facie, an illicit relationship was ascertained to be the reason behind the murder A hunt for the accused was on, the police added.

SC did not disqualify remaining 24 BSP MLAs: HC

Allahabad, Mar 11 (UNI) The Allahabad High Court has given a detailed judgement in the case of the remaining 24 BSP MLAs, holding that the apex court in Rajendra Singh Rana's case had declared only 13 party MLAs as disqualified. The bench comprising Justices A Kumar and Dilip Gupta said as far as 24 BSP MLAs are concerned, the Supreme Court has not declared them disqualified. Minor raped and murdered

Baghpat, Mar 11 (UNI) A 16-yr-old girl was raped and murdered by three miscreants in this district of Uttar Pradesh today. In his complaint, Krishna Pal of Teerpura village alleged that his daughter was criminally assaulted and later killed by Virendra, Pramod and Anuj Charan Singh under Doghat police station area.
