Three drown while taking bath in irrigation tank

Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Mar 11 (UNI) Three persons including two young girls were drowned while taking bath in an irrigation tank at Sathuperi near here today.

Police said the deceased were identified as Sestha (17), her brother Anandan (13) and their neice Raji (20).

They were hailing from adjacent Karugamputhur village.

With the help of the public we fished out the bodies and sent them for post-mortem, police added.
