Suitcase creates flutter

Chennai, Mar 11 (UNI) An unclaimed suitcase created a flutter among the security personnel, visitors, and airport authorities at the departure area of Kamaraj Domestic Airport here today.

The abandoned suitcase, which had been there for quite a long time was noticed by the CISF personnel who informed their seniors, sources said.

The bomb detection squad of Bureau of Civil Avitation Security and local police rushed to the spot and removed the suitcase with utmost care.

They kept the suitcase in a cooling pit for observation and found there was nothing to worry about, the sources added.

Tension prevails following double murder in TN

Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, Mar 11 (UNI) Tension prevailed for almost the whole day, following a double murder incident near Thachanallur village on the Tirunelveli-Madurai bypass road near here today.
