Package of Hungarian films shown at MAMI

Mumbai, Mar 11 (UNI) The ongoing MAMI festival here saw a package of Hungarian films screened on the fourth day of the week-long event Hungarian films like 'The Prince's Respite' by Peter Timar, 'A Guest of Life' by Tibar Szemzo, 'Relatives' by Istvan Szabo, 'Fresh Air' by Agnes Kocsis and 'Just Sex and Nothing Else' by Krisztina Goda were shown.

A representative from Hungary said ''Mumbai is a city of dreams, money, wealth, films and culture. It is a great honour to be a part of MAMI festival. Hungarian government has taken important measures to draw filmmakers there. Last year Steven Speilberg was shooting in Budapest.'' UNI

Film carnival to begin on Mar 14

Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) urged to turn down Indo-US nuke deal

Mumbai, Mar 12 (UNI) Participants in an International Seminar on 'Indo-US Nuclear Deal' have opposed the proposed civilian nuclear energy cooperation between United States and India, stating it violates the underlying principles of Nuclear Proliferation Treaty (NPT). They have also moved a resolution urging members of the Nuclear Suppliers' Group (NSG) to turn down the proposal to amend its rule to accomodate the deal as and when it comes up for discussion.
