Indigo faces bomb scare

Kolkata, Mar 11 (UNI) An Indigo flight from Kolkata to Nagpur returned to the Dum Dum Airport following a bomb hoax.

Official sources said, the flight returned after an anonymous caller told the Air Traffic Control that that there was bomb aboard the Indigo flight.

Soon after, the aircraft landed. The passengers were evacuated and the security agencies, including those of bomb detection and disposal squad, searched the aircraft.

However, nothing was found. The passengers were also put through the security drill as the called also claimed that there were extremists on the flight, airport sources said.

DSIIDC to build 4,348 worker's homes

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) will build 4,348 more low-cost homes for workers, its Managing Director Manoj Parida said. The corporation has earmarked an area of 23.55 acres of residential pocket at Bawana Industrial Complex where 3,164 dwelling units have already been constructed as part of the Rajiv Gandhi Housing Scheme. Mr Parida said the scheme is on self-financing basis and has been opened for low-income group staff of public sector undertakings.....

PoK traders likely to postpone J

Jammu, Mar 11 (UNI) The first ever delegation of traders from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which was scheduled to arrive here on March 13, is likely to postpone its visit as Pakistan authorities were yet to give clearance to the delegates, an industry leader today said. ''We have been informed that the delegation has not been given the clearance from Pakistan government as yet, so their trip is likely to postpone little further,'' Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) president.....
