Gang making fake voter identity cards busted, two arrested

New Delhi, March 11 (UNI) Delhi police today claimed to have busted a gang preparing fake voter identity cards and driving licenses by arresting two persons identified as Harjeet Singh and Gautam Arora.

A computer, a scanner, a printer, four fake voter cards, and a lamination machine were recovered from their possession later.

According to the police, they got a tip-off about fictitious voter identity cards being made in sector-15 market of Rohini A police team managed to arrest Harjeet Singh after using a decoy. Upon information obtained during his interrogation, Arora was also arrested later.

Six-year-old boy killed in road accident

Bangaon, Mar 02 (UNI) A six-year-old school boy was killed by a truck at Banbehari colony in North 24 Parganas this afternoon. The incident took place when a driver of a Chakdah-bound truck rammed into a medicine shop leaving Arghya Biswas seriously injured. The victim was soon rushed to the Bangaon sub-divisional hospital from where he was referred to a city hospital. But Arghya succumbed to injuries on the way. Pak national arrested on International border

Jammu, Mar 11 (UNI) A Pakistani national was arrested by security forces from Abdal village near the international border in Arnia sector here, sources today said. A resident of Sialkote (Pakistan), Mohd Razzaq, 50, was apprehended yesterday by the troops of 52nd Battalion BSF, sources said. He was handed over to police for further investigation. UNI.....
