RIL to pay Rs 11/share

Mumbai, Mar 10 (UNI) The board of directors of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries (RIL) today approved an interim dividend of 110 per cent at Rs 11 per share of Rs 10.

The board of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation(IPCL) announced an interim dividend of 60 per cent at Rs 6 per share of Rs 10.

The announcement was made after the respective board met today approving merger of the two companies.

Unsolicited calls? Call mobile operator

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) Following a TRAI directive, all mobile operators in the country will now offer 'Do Not Call' registry to their subscribers to prevent them from attending unsolicited promotional calls and messages. To avail the service, the subscribers can register their mobile numbers online and also by sending SMSs to their customer care centres. The Do Not Call or Do Not Disturb registry will contain a list of mobile numbers to which the mobile operators wil not make.....

ABC Bearings inks JV with NSK

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) ABC Bearings Ltd has signed an agreement with Japan-based NSK Ltd to form a joint venture (JV) company to manufacture bearings for the automotive industry with an investment of Rs 80 crore by 2010, targeting mainly Japanese and other transplant customers. The JV, NSK-ABC Bearings Ltd, will be located in Tamil Nadu and will start the commercial production from January next year with an initial investment of Rs 50 crore. NSK will own 75 per.....
