Police recover dump in Nallamala forest

Mahaboobnagar, Mar 10 (UNI) Police today recovered a dump of spare parts for the Thapanchas used by Naxals in Nallamala forest area at Dildartippa in Kollapur mandal of the district.

Based on a tip-off, a police team launched a search operation at Dildartippa in the forest area and seized spare parts of 100 thapanchas concealed in two plastic drums left by Maoists.

A search was going on in the nearby area to locate any more dumps of the ultras.

Chennai, Mar 10 (UNI) Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss today warned of strict action against Self-Financing Private Medical Colleges in the country, who were selling medical seats, especially in post-graduate course, for huge sums. Delivering the 13th convocation address of National Board of Examination (NBE) here, the Minister pointed out that a private medical college in the city had sold a post-graduate (radiology) seat for more than Rs one crore.
