Jailer shot dead in Ara

Ara, Mar 10 (UNI) Two people, including a jailer, were shot dead, following a land dispute at Semardah village in Bhojpur district today.

Police said that some miscreants barged into the jailer's residence and fired indiscriminately, killing him on the spot.

Another person was also killed in the incident.

Mr Singh was posted at Supaul and had come to the village on a leave.

In another incident, one Tara Paswan was also shot dead by miscreants at Chhapramur village near here.

Investigations are on to nab the criminals involved in both the incidents, police added.

Government to open 15,000 new schools in Bihar : Nitish
