DPC condemns manhandling of lady scribe

Kohima, Mar 10 (UNI) The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) today condemned the alleged manhandling of a reporter of the Morung Express on the day of the by-election to the Dimapur-I Assembly constituency.

The DPC, in a statement, said such behaviour of the Dimapur Municipal Council member with a woman journalist, that too on the International Womens Day, was uncalled for.

''It is not only an insult to the media fraternity, but also to the entire women community of the world,'' the statement added.

CCL to produce 78 million tonne of coal in next five-year plan: CMD

Ranchi, Mar 10 (UNI) The Central Coalfields Limited(CCL) has planned to increase production to 78 million tonnes in the terminal year of 11th five year plan(2011-12) beginning next year. Govt. moots business hubs to boost rural economy

Itanagar, Mar. 10 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh government has decided to set up one rural business hub in each anchal samity, block and zilla parishad and if possible in each gram panachayt area during the 11th plan period, said Panchayati Raj Minister Tako Dabi. Bamboo cultivation expands despte flowering: Jitendra

Agartala, Mar 10 (UNI) Tripura Government has taken all efforts to expand bamboo cultivation mainly Muli despite reports of bamboo flowering in different parts in the state.
