Agumbe records lowest temp 8.7 deg. cel.

Bangalore, Mar 10 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.8 degree celsius over the State.

Minimum temperatures rose at many places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

Agumbe recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 8.7 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Local forecast: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and Minimum temperature would be around 34 degree and 19 deg. Celsius respectively.

Southern tourism circuit to lure foreign tourists

Mysore, Mar 12 (UNI) With a clear cut goal of enhancing its tourist appeal and bettering its international tourist arrival position in the country from the present fourth, Karnataka has launched the Southern Circuit of tourist destinations, covering a variety of tourist hotspots in and around this heritage city. New Delhi, Mar 16 (UNI) The CPI(ML) while condemning the 'Nandigram massacre' has sought the resignation of the Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee government saying the incident was a ''murder of democracy''.
