Daily ATR flight to Agatti from July

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 9 (UNI) Alliance Air, a subsidiary of national carrier Indian, will introduce a new daily service between Kochi and Agatti in the Lakshadweep Islands from July this year.

The operation of the ATR-42 service would be more than double the capacity offered by Indian on this route.

The development of the airfield at Agatti had facilitated the operation of the 48-seater ATR-42 aircraft. The ATR would leave Kochi at 1150 hrs and reach Agatti at 1315 hrs. The return flight will leave Agatti at 1335 hrs and arrive at Kochi at 1500 hrs, the release said.

AP Govt committed to reservation for Muslims
