Annual Plan outlay for Andamans fixed at 602.93 crore

Port Blair, Mar 9 (UNI) The annual Plan outlay for Andaman and Nicobar Islands for 2007-08 was fixed at Rs 602.93 crores sources from the administration said here today.

Chief of Information and Publicity Unit of Andaman V K Mishra said the plan outlay had been fixed at a meeting held in New Delhi recently between the Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission and the Lt Governor of Andaman and Nicober Islands Bhopinder Singh.

Moreover, the Planning Commission had also allocated a sum of Rs 550 crore for tsunami rehabilitation programme in this island territory, he added.

Samsung India aims 100% growth in sale of LCD monitors
