Airtel launches 8888 services

Chennai, Mar 9 (UNI) Leading mobile service provider, Airtel has launched new 8888 service for their customers.

If Airtel subscribers want to know news from some leading publication, subscribers have to type 'sub news' and send it to 8888, an official release here today said.

It would contain news from every sector from politics to sports to business news.

Subscribers of this service would receive two updates everyday.

If the subscriber was interested in stock market, they would have to type 'sub stock' and send it to 8888.

The subscriber of this service would receive three sms per day about stock update and major changes in the stock market.

This service was not only business oriented but also for those Airtel customers who were more interested in other activities of life like entertainment, astrology and other fields, the release added.

Wipro launches 'sweet n healthy' low calorie sweetener

RIL to pay Rs 11/share

Mumbai, Mar 10 (UNI) The board of directors of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries (RIL) today approved an interim dividend of 110 per cent at Rs 11 per share of Rs 10. The board of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation(IPCL) announced an interim dividend of 60 per cent at Rs 6 per share of Rs 10.
