MP: 5 tribals selected for higher studies abroad

Bhopal, Mar 9: Five tribal students from Madhya Pradesh have been selected for higher studies abroad on state government scholarship.

It is mandatory for the selected students to enrol abroad within two years or their selection will be treated as cancelled, official sources said today.

The students selected by a committee constituted by the state government include Miss Kanta Sonwane, Dr Umesh Kumar Patil, Ms Kirti Solanki, Mr Ashish Kumar Anand and Mr Raju Kumar Koria.

Bhopal, May 23: The Madhya Pradesh government has issued an ordinance to regulate admission and fix fees in the state's private professional educational institutions. Governor Balram Jakhar issued the Madhya Pradesh Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Ordinance that was published in yesterday's Madhya Pradesh Gazette (Extraordinary), official sources said.
