Rs 30 increase in copra MSP: Cabinet

New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) The government today announced a Rs 30 increase in the minimum support price (MSP) for copra, both milling and ball.

With this, the MSP for milling copra would go up from Rs 3,590 to Rs 3,620 and for ball copra from Rs 3,840 to Rs 3,870.

NAFED would continue to act as the nodal agency for the procurement operations, Finance Minister P Chidambaram told reporters after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) where the decision was taken.

CCEA apporves PCPIRs to boost investments

7 killed, 34 injured in road accident in Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Mar 8 (UNI) At least 7 people including two women, were killed and 34 others injured when a bus plunged into a river yesterday at Satputli in Pauri district of Uttarakhand, official sources said today.
