Robbers who burgled Noida house of Union Minister Kanti Singh nabb

New Delhi, Mar 8 (UNI) The Delhi police have busted an inter-state gang of robbers involved in several cases of dacoity, including a burglary last month in a Noida house of Union Minister of State for Heavy Industries Kanti Singh.

Three members of the gang - Rajesh Khushwaha, Uma Shankar and Sunil Kumar Gupta were arrested after one Vijay Kumar Aggrawal reported that four persons, including one in police uniform, committed roberry in his house last month on pretext of verification.

After a detailed investigation, Rajesh, who worked in the office of the complainant, was arrested from Ghaziabad. Based on his information the other accused were also arrested.

Interrogation revealed their involvement in over 20 cases of murder, attempt to murder and robbery including a dacoity in the house of Union Minister of State Kanti Singh in Noida Sector 56 on February 9.

MLC granted bail in murder case

Lucknow, Mar 8 (UNI) Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court today granted bail to Uttar Pradesh Member of Legislative Council (MLC) S P Singh in a murder case. Justice Abdul Matin granted bail to Singh after hearing his counsel Virendra Bhatia, who is also a Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha member. The MLC, who is also a co-founder-manager of Lucknow Public School, with his aide Shiv Bahadur was arrested last year in the Chandra Pal Singh murder case in the state.....

Two arrested with 43 kg charas

Jammu, Mar 8 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today seized 43 kg of charas being sent to Gujarat and arrested two people at Hira Nagar in Kathua district, official sources said. Charas worth, Rs 43 lakh in the international market, was seized from a Tata Sumo, coming from Srinagar, SHO Hira Nagar Askok Singh told UNI. A woman, Roshan Akbar Ali, 55, and her son-in-law Sajid, 38, were also arrested. During preliminary investigation, they revealed that the consignment was being taken.....
