Nine injured in bomb blast

Guwahati, Mar 8 (UNI) At least nine people were injured, two of them critically, when suspected ULFA militants exploded a grenade in the Kakopathar town in Tinsukia district.

Police said the incident occurred at 1920 hours in front of a post office in the main town. Nine, including two student leaders, had been wounded.

The injured were admitted to Tinsukia civil hospital, sources added.

RPG Group to pump in Rs 2,700cr to set up 4,000 retail stores

Gurgaon, Mar 8 (UNI) The Goenka's-owned RPG Group will infuse Rs 2,500-Rs 2,700 crore for setting up 4,000 retail outlets, including 1,000 Spencers stores, across the country by 2011.
