Liz-Nayar be charged for security: MLA

Jaipur, Mar 8 (UNI) The much talked about marriage of Hollywood star Liz Hurley and Indian born businessman Arun Nayar in Jodhpur was a topic of discussion in the Assembly today.

CPM MLA Amraram raised the issue of the celebrity marriage taking place under the cover of a three-tire security, during zero hour. He demanded that the couple be asked to bear the cost of security and other expenses.

The MLA said, ''The couple have already married twice or thrice and the so called marriage of the couple in the Indian tradition is a joke.'' UNI PJJ HS RAI2053

Punjab govt shifts Vigilance Bureau Director

Chandigarh, Mar 8 (UNI) In the first major reshuffle of the top police brass in the state, the Punjab government today shifted the Vigilance Bureau Director and ten other police officers. Three range IGPs and a similar number of range DIGs were also shifted. According to an official release, Vigilance Bureau Director Izhar Alam was posted as DGP Prisons in place of A P Pandey, whose posting orders have not been issued. Govt to file review petition in SC over temple verdict

Jaipur, Mar 8 (UNI) Rajasthan government will file a review petition in the Supreme Court over its order on the ownership of the famous Kesariyaji temple at Rishabdev in Udaipur district.
