TN Govt securities sale

Chennai, Mar 7 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Government has announced the sale of ten-year security in the form of stock to public by auction for an aggregate amount of Rs 414.471 crore.

The auction would be conducted the Reserve Bank of India at its Mumbai office on March 13, an official release here said.

Vijayawada, Mar 7 (UNI) The Anti Corruption Bureau officials today conducted a raid the residence of Pollution Control Board (PCB) official and seized Rs 50 lakh property from him. According to ACB officials here, the raid was conducted this morning on PCB Environmental Engineer, P Ravindranath's residence and seized some documents, bank deposits and cash worth Rs 50 lakh. Malappuram, Mar 7 (UNI) Twentynine passengers were injured and two of them seriously, when the bus in which they were travelling overturned near Vattapara on National Highway in the district today. According to police, the private bus was proceeding from Kozhikode to Guruvayoor when the acident occurred. The injured were admitted to the Valencherry and Perinthalmanna hospital, police added. Kancheepuram, Mar 7 (UNI) One person was killed and three seriously injured when a mini lorry hit a stationary sand lorry today. Police said the mini lorry was proceeding to Chennai from Chittoor when the mishap occurred at Vedal near here killing Subramani (42) who was travelling in the vehicle.
