Hutch launches HCC for international travel

Chennai, Mar 7 (UNI) Leading telecom service provider Hutch today announced the launch of "Home Calling Cards" (HCC) for international travel from India.

This product offers international travellers from India the convenience of making calls internationally at 90 per cent discounted rates compared to roaming charges, an official release said here today.

HCC customers will be able to orginate international calls from about 95 countries by accessing a toll free number and by then authenticating their account using an identification number appearing on the inbound calling cards.

The calling service shall include calling cards sold online and Physical Calling Cards.

The card will be available at various retail locations and online.

The retail locations include Hutch shops, assorted retail outlets, airports and travel agencies.

The validity of the cards after first use was six months while the actual life was one year.

The access through the cards, from the respective orginating countries, can be through fixed line (touch tone or non-DTMF phone), mobile phones and payphones.

The card will be available in two denominations such as Rs 500 and Rs 1,200 with billing pulses of 60 seconds, the release added.

Call money ends high at 5.45-5.65 pc
