Baghdad car bomb targeting pilgrims kills 8-police

BAGHDAD, March 7 (Reuters) A car bomb targeting police and Shi'ite pilgrims in southern Baghdad killed eight people today, including seven pilgrims, a police source said.

It targeted police and pilgrims in the Baghdad district of Saidiya as they were heading to the holy city of Kerbala to commemorate Arbain.

MoU inked with Canadian varsity for activities

Chennai, Mar 8: Rajalakshmi Engineering College, a self financing college, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Canada-based University of Regina, to take up joint educational and research activities.
