Anil Berera new Whirlpool CFO

New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) Home appliances company Whirlpool of India has announced the appointment of Mr Anil Berera as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who would be replacing Mr R S Narayan.

Mr Berera will be responsible for integrating and directing processes to support the overall business strategy of the company in India.

Prior to this, he has worked with companies like Gillette India Ltd, Beckton Dickinson and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Web18 picks stake in BigTree Entertainment

New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) The TV18 Group's internet arm, Web18, has acquired a majority stake in Bigtree Entertainment Pvt Ltd, a leader in movie and entertainment ticketing, to further strengthen its position in the internet and mobile transactions space. The scheme 'PNB Kalyani Card Yojna' aims at providing hassle free credit to women for self-employment generation in traditional or newer sustainable productive activities. NCP releases candidate's list for Meghalaya assembly polls
