Stormy scenes in Rajasthan Assembly over attack on minister

Jaipur, Mar 6 (UNI) Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha today witnessed stormy scenes over the reported attack on Roadways and Sports minister Yunus Khan yesterday.

Raising the issue during Question Hour, Congress legislator Zubair Khan said an atack on a legislator when the Assembly Session is on is matter of a grave concern.

Congress's C P Joshi and other members also supported him, but were opposed by ruling party legislators Bansilal and other members which led to a pandemonium in the House for about 20 minutes as members started trading charges against each other.

Speaker Sumitra Singh said Home Minister should give a statement on this matter. But as members failed to remain quiet, she said the members' statements should not be recorded.

The sports minister was attacked yesterday by at least two dozen people near Sawai Man Singh Stadium. Members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad are said to have been involved in the attack.

Badal's move on water issue can endanger peace: Hooda

Five of family killed in road mishap

Rohtak, Mar 6 (UNI) Five members of a family were among six people killed when a car collided with a Rajasthan Roadways bus on the Rohtak-Bhiwani road, about five km from here today. The accident occurred when a car on way to Delhi from Bhiwani collided head on with the Churu-bound Rajasthan Roadways bus near Dobh village on the Rohtak-Bhiwani road this morning.
