Rajasthan continue to reel under influence of cold winds

Jaipur, Mar 6 (UNI) Cold winds continue to blow during mornings and evenings, making the weather in Rajasthan cool and comfortable.

Pilani in Jhunjhunu recorded the lowest temperature in the state today, marking 10 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological office said snowfall in the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and rainfall and hailstorm in the plains just before Holi have been responsible for continued blowing of cold winds. However, a comparatively bright sun warms up the afternoon weather.

The state capital recorded 12.4 degrees Celsius, Dholpur 11.4, degres Churu 12.2 degrees, Mount Abu 12.4, degrees, Ganganagar 12.9, Bhilwara 13.2, Udaipur 13.4, Bikaner 13.6, Jaisalmer 14.2, Bharatpur 14.3, Ajmer 15.2, Jodhpur 15.7, Barmer 15.9, Sawai Madhopur 15.8, Kota 17.2, Bundi 18.4 and Rawatbhata 19.6 degrees Celsius.

Five of family killed in road mishap

Rohtak, Mar 6 (UNI) Five members of a family were among six people killed when a car collided with a Rajasthan Roadways bus on the Rohtak-Bhiwani road, about five km from here today. Rajasthan, ITC to develop watershed project

Jaipur, Mar 6 (UNI) In a first ever public-private initative, Rajasthan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ITC for development of a watershed project. Rajasthan Roadways to halve fares for women on March 8
