Polaris re-assessed at CMMI level 5

Chennai, Mar 6 (UNI) Leading IT service provider Polaris Software Lab Limited today announced it has been successfully re-assessed at CMMI level 5 (Version 1.2).

The company's investment banking and capital market business solution centre in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi have been appraised using SCAMPI V 1.2 methodology, a release here today said.

Polaris Vice President (Corporate Quality) Rama Sivaraman claimed it was the first company in the world to achieve CMMI level 5 certification.

"The reassessment is very significant because SCAMPI V 1.2 was the latest and most stringent appraisal methodology recently launched by SEI," he added.
