'Kajaria World' showroom inaugurated in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Mar 6 (UNI) Kajaria Ceramic Limited (KCL), one of the largest manufacturers of ceramic floor and wall tiles in the country, today inaugurated its 4th imported tiles showroom 'Kajaria World' here.

KCL Director (Imported Division) Rushikesh Kajaria told mediapersons ''This state of art showroom here not only imparts energetic and attractive looks but also embodies the artistic confluence of display and decor with interesting colour scheme to create an elegant ambiance.'' Mr Kajaria said, the showroom has got exclusive sections dedicated to modern living space concepts with alluring, colourful and creative pattern ideas, tempting consumers to own them.

He said, Kajaria, known for pioneering trends in Indian ceramic industry, has concocted the concept of 'Kajaria World' to woo its discerning customers with the most modern showroom for imported tiles in India. With tiles for every purpose, Kajaria world is dreams-come- true for the architect, interior designers, builders and elite customers.

After Gurgaon, Bangalore and Mumbai, Ahmedabad is the fourth place where the showroom has been set up. Next cities on list of the company are Kolkata, Goa, Hyderabad and Chennai. During the current financial year, three more such 'Kajaria World' showrooms would be opened in the country, Mr Kajaria said.

When asked, he said, the price range for Indian products will be in range of Rs 20 to 240 per sq feet, while for imported items, which are mainly from Spain, Italy and China, the range is between Rs 70 to 250 per sq feet.

The Indian ceramic market is over Rs 7,000 crore, of which Kajaria holds market share worth nearly Rs 300 crore, he said.

The company is also planning to set up a manufacturing unit in Gujarat at a cost of Rs 100 crore by September next year, Mr Kajaria added.
