Youth found murdered

Puducherry, Mar 5 (UNI) A 20-year-old youth was found murdered at Pakkamudayanpet near here this evening.

According to police, the unidentified man's head was found smashed with a stone.

Police have registered a case and are investigating.

Meanwhile, police recovered the body of a 40-year-old man floating in the Murugambakkam river. There was no mark of external injury on the highly decomposed body and it was not immediately known whether it was a case of accident or murder, police sources said.

Law students injured in group clash, hospitalised

Kozhikode, Mar 5 (UNI) As many as ten students of Kozhikode Law College were injured in a group clash between rival student wings affiliated to different political parties in the campus here today.
