Three suspended legislators on dharna outside Vidhan Sabha

Jaipur, Mar 5 (UNI) Three suspended legislators from Rajasthan Assembly today are holding a protest on the road near the Vidhan Sabha demanding that their suspension be revoked.

CPI(M)'s Amraram, Lok Jan Shakti Party's Ranvir Singh Gudha, Bahujan Samaj Party's Murari Lal Meena and Suresh Meena were suspended from the entire Budget session of the Assembly after they tried to disrupt the Governor's address on the first day of the session.

Pandemonium prevailed on the second day of the Assembly on March 2 as the Opposition continued to demand that the suspension order be revoked.

Except for Mr Gudha, the other three legislators rode the bus which takes legislators to the Vidhan Sabha. BSP legislator Suresh Meena went and sat in the driver's seat but these legislators were stopped by the security guards at the gates. After which the three legislators sat on a dharna just outside the House.

HC tells EC to advance Beas poll, Centre to provide security

Oppn stages walkout over price rise

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 5 (UNI) The Congress-led Opposition staged a walkout in the Kerala Assembly today to protest the government's refusal to discuss an adjournment motion on ''soaring prices'' of essential commodities. Seeking leave for the motion, Mr Aryadan Mohammed (Cong) said people in state were finding it difficult to make both ends meet because of the rising prices of essential commodities. Alleging that the government ''failed'' to take effective steps to control prices, he said the State Civil Supplies Corporation (Supplyco).....

Train stopped after bomb hoax, farmers allege police hand

Sriganganagar, Feb 22 (UNI) An Express train, carrying mostly farmers, was stopped at Hanumangarh region for three hours last night following an anonymous bomb hoax call. However, farmers travelling in the train, which was on its way to Jaipur from here, alleged that it was deliberately done to stop them from attending today's indefinite rally (mahapadav) in the pink city. Police said the Sriganganagar-Jaipur Express train was stopped at the Hanumangarh junction after an unidentified caller said bombs had been.....
