Pune, Mar 5 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Hot day conditions prevailed in some parts of coastal Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan, Goa and coasstal Karnataka. Day temperatures were above normal in some parts of Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan and Goa. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Chattisgarh, and were below normal in Jharkhand and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.

They were appreciably above normal in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and in some parts of west Rajasthan, and were above normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Telangana and Rayalseema. They were normal over the rest of the country.

HC show cause to commissioner in Ayodhya civil suit

Lucknow, Feb 20 (UNI) The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court today issued a show cause notice to Faizabad divisional commissioner in the Ayodhya civil suit. A special full bench comprising Justices S R Alam, O P Srivastava and D V Sharma passed the order on a writ petition filed by Sunni Central Waqf Board.
