Pramati Technologies to launch 'Dekoh'

Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) Pramati Technologies, an end-to-end Enterprise Java platform vendor, today announced its plan to launch 'Dekoh, a new platform for applications that bring an integrated experience of the web and the desktop.

Announcing this at a press conference here, Pramati Chief Executive Officer Jay Pullur said ''Dekoh bridges the big divide between Desktop and the Web. Using browser-based applications seamlessly when offline or online is a compelling value. Writing desktop applications using the same web standards like JavaT, AJAX, DHTML, Flash and PHP is exciting for developers.'' Dekoh Desktop was a small footprint download that could be installed on the user's desktop with a single click. It included a web server on which applications were written using open standards.

Applications deployed on Dekoh Desktop were automatically enabled for web 2.0 functions like tagging, sharing, commenting and rating.

Pirated software worth 2.1 mn dollars seized in India in 2006
