One militant killed in Kashmir encounter

Srinagar, Mar 5 (UNI) One militant was killed in an encounter with security forces at Sumbal in the north Kashmir district of Baramulla today, official sources said.

They said the encounter ensued after a search party was attacked by the militants. One AK rifle and other arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.

4 militants killed in encounter near LoC in JK

Court discharges 36 in Khairlanji case

Srinagar, Mar 5 (UNI) The employees of the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) today took to streets alleging that they were not being paid their salaries and other benefits by the authorities. Siddhivinayak wall's fate to be decided by MCGM general body

Mumbai, Feb 22 (UNI) Maharashtra Advocate General Ravi Kadam today told the Bombay High Court that the general body of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) will decide whether the security wall around the famous Siddhivinayak Temple should stay or not. However, the decision can be taken only by the general body of the corporation after a public notice is given and after seeking the people's objections.
