Jataayu launches jB5 Truly Mobile Browser community site

Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) Jataayu Software today announced the launch of a community site, aimed at taking mobile browsing to the next level.

The site, www.jataayu.net, was Jataayu's attempt to bring together individuals with an interest in mobile browsing. Jataayu's endeavour was to make the vision of ubiquitous mobile web access a reality - by enabling its Truly Mobile browser jB5 with Adaptive Rendering Technology - on the widest range of feature phones.

Company CTO Arun Tanksali said in a release here that ''the Mobile Web is evolving and from being limited to specially prepared content for mobile devices is going wherever information and services can be found on the Web. jB5 connects people to the Web in a seamless manner, preserving familiar access to operator content while opening up the entire Web for them.'' The site offered beta versions of Symbian and Windows Mobile Smart Phone implementations of jB5. It provided a forum for avidly discussing the Mobile Web, browsing and where it was headed, the latest advances, what they would like from jB5 and for sharing comments, feedback and suggestions on actual user experience with jB5, the release said.
