Fire breaks out at Ahmedabad Electricity Company office

Ahmedabad, Mar 05 (UNI) Office of the Ahmedabad Electricity company on Ashram Road was completely gutted in a major fire that broke out early morning today.

No casualty was reported. However property worth Rs 1 crore was destroyed and several important records were gutted in the fire.

Fire brigade sources told UNI that the fire broke out due to short circuit at the computer terminals in the office which is situated adjacent to Chinubhai Towers near HK Arts College on the busy Ashram Road.

People nearby noticed smoke billowing out and called the firebrigade and the fire was quickly brought under control.

CM on 2-day poll tour of Vidarbha from tomorrow

Patil takes a dig at CM over merger suggestion
