Father-in-law murdered

Badwani(MP), Mar 5 (UNI) In a domestic quarrel, a youth stabbed to death his father-in-law and was absconding, police said.

Police said Raju Bagri and his wife had heated argument on a trivial issue yesterday and his wife left her house and reached her paternal home. In another round of quarrel when Raju reached the house of his in-law to take back his wife, Raju stabbed to death his father-in-law Prem Bagri(50).

The incident took place at Nisarpur near Khetia in this district last night, police said.

Serial blasts: Sentences to be pronounced after Feb 23

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) The designated TADA court here is likely to pronounce sentences upon the 1993 Mumbai serial blast convicts after February 23. The court is likely to announce on February 23 the date from when it will start delivering the sentences. Minor forest produce seized

Dewas (MP), Mar 5 (UNI) About six quintals of minor forest produce 'Gondh' (gum) valued at about Rs 70,000 was seized while being illegally transported in Kannod forest area of this district yesterday. Ranchi, Feb 20 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court today ordered CBI inquiry into the death of Abhishek Mishra, whose body was found at Dassam Falls a day after he, along with his friends including Railway Minister Lalu Prasad's daughter, went for picnic there in December. A division bench comprising Justice Muthuswamy Karpagyavinaygam and Justice Permod Kohli asked the state government to stop its investigations and hand over the case to the CBI.
