Agumbe records lowest temp of 10.7 deg cel

Bangalore, Mar 5 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and normal over Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 37.0 degrees celsius over the State.

Minimum temperatures rose at many places being appreciably so at a few places Coastal Karnataka; rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka however fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Agumbe recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 10.7 degrees celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Wednesday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum and Minimum temperature would be around 32 deg c and 20 deg c respectively.

Ambareesh confident his resignation would be accepted

K'taka Govt to construct 20 permanent helipads

Mangalore, Mar 6 (UNI) In view of the increased inflow of tourists to Karnataka and growth in the aviation sector, the State Government had decided to construct 20 permanent helipads at a total cost of Rs two crore, Infrastructure Development Principal Secretary V P Baligar said today.
