Stone-pelting during cricket match in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Mar 4 (UNI) A cricket match in the sensitive Dariapur area of the city witnessed a short spell of stone-throwing today by two rival groups here.

The police rushed to the spot this afternoon and dispersed the clashing groups.

No complaint has been filed so far, police said.

3 carcasses recovered in Junagadh

Junagadh, Mar 4 (UNI) Highly decomposed carcasses of two lionesses and a cub were recovered today from the Gir Forest's Babaria range, near Una village, about 180 km from here. Forest department sources said the killings could have occurred some days ago and the nails were missing from all the three carcasses. The department has registered a First Information Report (FIR) and has also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to the arrest of culprits. The carcasses.....
