Six undertrails break escapes from prison

Ranchi, Mar 3 (UNI) Six prisoners escaped from Saraikela jail in Jharkhand's Saraikela Kharsama district today.

Police Suprintendent Lakshman Prasad Singh told UNI over telephone that seven undertrails fled from the prison but one among them was arrested.

Mr Singh said they ran away when the prison door was opened for them to meet their guests.

Search operation has been intensified to nab them, he added.

Mysore, Mar 3 (UNI) A debt-ridden man murdered his wife, before committing suicide by hanging at Alanahalli village on the outskirts of the city, today. Police said Shivaranju (36) picked up a quarrel with his wife, Manjula (30), demanding her to bring more money from her father's place to clear his loans.
