RPG acquires Fujitsu stake in Zensar

Kolkata, Mar 4 (UNI) RPG will acquire Fujitsu's stake in Zensar Technologies Ltd, one of India's leading IT and BPO services providers for an undisclosed sum.

A RPG release said the company has concluded an agreement with Zensar. The agreement would come into force with immediate effect and the deal would be consummated shortly.

Chairman of RPG Group and Chairman of the Board of Zensar Technologies Ltd Harsh Goenka said, ''We are delighted that Fujitsu has agreed to sell us the stake in Zensar. This will enable us to consolidate our shareholding in the company, which has been performing extremely well in the last few years and opens the possibilities of major growth in the years to come.'' A Fujitsu spokesman said, ''We are happy that this transaction has been amicably completed. We will continue to work with the Company's management to ensure that all present and future joint projects are executed professionally.'' Zensar Technologies Managing Director Dr Ganesh Natarajan said, ''This shareholding change will open up avenues for growth that will see the company realise its true potential in the coming years. We expect to achieve and exceed in performance guidance this year and targetting a 50 per cent plus growth for the coming fiscal.'' Zensar Technologicies Ltd is a leading provider of IT and BPO service with operations in over fifteen countries and over three thousand employees.

The company has delivery centres in Pune and Hyderabad, in Shenzhen in China, Slough in UK, San Jose in USA and a new centre would be coming up in Poland.

'ByIndia' to launch 'Google Adwords-Like' system

New Delhi, Mar 4 (UNI) India-centric search engine and social networking site 'ByIndia.com' is all set to launch 'Google Adwords-Like' advertising system in the country from March 15. Companies announce interim dividend to save additional DDT

RCOM to spend USD 2.5 bn to expand its base

Mumbai, Mar 5 (UNI) Reliance Communications (RComm) is likely to spend USD 2.5 billion in next financial year (2008) on its capex cover by adding 20,000 BTS (base terminal stations).
