Police arrest two TNLA activists, seize countrymade bombs

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Mar 4 (UNI) Police today arrested two activists of Tamil Nadu Liberation Army (TNLA) here and seized from them countrymade bombs.

While Ganesan (45) was arrested from Edatheruvai near Thittakkudi, Palanimurugan (30) was held from Medirupa village near Panrutti, police said.

According to police, Palanimurugan used to make crude bombs and distribute the explosives through Ganesan. The duo had supplied bombs to three persons-Bilal, Daniel Raj and Murugan, who were arrested by the police for robbery.

The three sustained injuries, when the bombs, they were carrying in their vehicle exploded accidently.

Both Ganesan and Palanimurugan were remanded to judicial custody, police added.

4 brutally killed over farm-boundary dispute in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 5 (UNI) Four people were brutally killed, allegedly by fellow villagers at Dhoregaon village in Gangapur tehsil of this district early today. Police said accused Lahu Bansi Pathare, Shobabai Lahu Pathare, Kakasaheb Pathare and Pappu Kanhre and others allegedly attacked the two brothers -- Uttam Khanderao Pathare (55), Raosaheb Khanderao Pathare (50), their neighbours Sheikh Shabbir (50) and Rafiq (30) at Dhoregaon village in the wee hours. BJD leader and nine others injured in clash

Berhampur, Mar 5 (UNI) Ten peoples, including Biju Janata Dal(BJD) leader and Chairman of Polsara NAC Prafulla Kumar Pradhan, were injured in a clash between the BJD and Congress supporters at Polsara in Ganjam district yesterday police said today. According to the police, two seriously injured people, including the Polsara NAC Chairman and one Sanjaya Mohapatra, were shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here. African nations to come under 'Pan-African-e-network': Kalam
