Over 200 youths arrested for taking drugs at party near Pune

Pune, Mar 4 (UNI) More than 200 youth, including 26 girls, were arrested for taking drugs at a party in a private hotel in Khanpur area near here in the early hours today.

The invite for the party was put out on a web-site, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, plain clothes policemen raided the party and arrested college-going girls and boys, Rural Superintendent of Police Vishwas Nangre Patil said.

The possibility of an international drug syndicate cannot be ruled out as there were some foreigners present as well, he said.

The participants came from different parts of the country and flew down specially for the party, Patil added.

Doodipora probe over, report being submitted to Government soon
