Man gunned down

Bhopal, Mar 4 (UNI) A man was gunned down this afternoon in the local Jahangirabad area this afternoon, the police said.

The deceased identified as Dileep, who was declared dead after being rushed to Hamidia Hospital.

An additional police force has been stationed in the locality. It is yet unclear who had shot Dileep and for what reason. Senior police officers rushed to the spot.

Ongole, Andhra Pradesh, Feb 23 (UNI) A Telugu Desam Party (TDP) worker was allegedly shot dead by Maoists in Yellupalli village of Prakasham district in the state, this morning. Jabalpur, Mar 4 (UNI) A 11-year-old boy was murdered and his body hung from a tree in this district's Kankarkheda village, the police said. Kankarkheda-resident Latti Barman yesterday alerted the police that his relative's son Rakesh alias Chhotu was hanging in Ramnath Patel's farm. Police rushed to the spot and removed the corpse, which was sent for post mortem. UNI.....

12 yr old garrotted in Lucknow

Lucknow, Mar 4 (UNI) A girl was strangled by unidentified miscreants in Thakurganj area of the Uttar Pradesh state capital. Sabrin (12), a resident of Hazzitola area, was garrotted late last night. Bhopal, Mar 4 (UNI) A man was gunned down at the local Bank Colony this afternoon. Dileep Yadav was shot dead with a 12 bore licensed gun. Prime accused Devendra Tomar and his accomplice were arrested this evening and the weapon seized. The motive is unclear. K'taka govt releases Rs 164 cr for Suvarna Gramodaya scheme
