Actor's body found in railway track

Chennai, Mar 4 (UNI) Mystery shrouds the death of a small time film and TV actor Mahendran (44), whose body was found on the railway track at suburban Korukkupet here today.

Police sources said the body bore injuries on the head.

It was not known whether he had faller from a train.

Family sources suspect it to be a murder.

The body was sent to government hospital for post-mortem.

Mahendran had acted in films like ''Pokkiri'' and ''Chithiram Pesuthady''.

Myanmarese found dead in ship's cabin

Chennai, Mar 4 (UNI) A Myanmarese national on board an Indonesian vessel M T Spring Glory, which docked at the Chennai harbour yesterday, was found dead in his cabin. The crewman, Harwin Myind (37), working as an electric engineer, had died due to a heart attack, when the ship was 18 nautical miles away from the Port, according to doctors on board the ship. Police arrest two TNLA activists, seize countrymade bombs

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Mar 4 (UNI) Police today arrested two activists of Tamil Nadu Liberation Army (TNLA) here and seized from them countrymade bombs. While Ganesan (45) was arrested from Edatheruvai near Thittakkudi, Palanimurugan (30) was held from Medirupa village near Panrutti, police said.
