Actor's body found in railway track

Chennai, Mar 4 (UNI) Mystery shrouds the death of a small time film and TV actor Mahendran (44), whose body was found on the railway track at suburban Korukkupet here today.

Police sources said the body bore injuries on the head.

It was not known whether he had faller from a train.

Family sources suspect it to be a murder.

The body was sent to government hospital for post-mortem.

Mahendran had acted in films like ''Pokkiri'' and ''Chithiram Pesuthady''.

Police arrest two TNLA activists, seize countrymade bombs

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Mar 4 (UNI) Police today arrested two activists of Tamil Nadu Liberation Army (TNLA) here and seized from them countrymade bombs. While Ganesan (45) was arrested from Edatheruvai near Thittakkudi, Palanimurugan (30) was held from Medirupa village near Panrutti, police said. According to police, Palanimurugan used to make crude bombs and distribute the explosives through Ganesan.
