3 carcasses recovered in Junagadh

Junagadh, Mar 4 (UNI) Highly decomposed carcasses of two lionesses and a cub were recovered today from the Gir Forest's Babaria range, near Una village, about 180 km from here.

Forest department sources said the killings could have occurred some days ago and the nails were missing from all the three carcasses.

The department has registered a First Information Report (FIR) and has also announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to the arrest of culprits.

The carcasses have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), the sources said.

Over 200 youths arrested for taking drugs at party near Pune

Pune, Mar 4 (UNI) More than 200 youth, including 26 girls, were arrested for taking drugs at a party in a private hotel in Khanpur area near here in the early hours today.
