12 yr old garrotted in Lucknow

Lucknow, Mar 4 (UNI) A girl was strangled by unidentified miscreants in Thakurganj area of the Uttar Pradesh state capital.

Sabrin (12), a resident of Hazzitola area, was garrotted late last night.

Her body was recovered today in Thakurganj area, police said.

The reason behind the crime, however, remained a puzzle.

The body has been sent for autopsy.

Holi dispute claims life

Indore, Mar 4 (UNI) A man was fatally stabbed and his wife and nephew injured after a Holi dispute between children at the local Jai Hind Nagar area, the police said. One Bharat Giri allegedly stabbed the victim Lakshman Sonkar Sonkar's wife and nephew Golu who were standing nearby got severely injured in the scuffle. Both of them were hospitalised.
