Vanishing colour sprays perk up Holi revellers

Jaipur, Mar 3 (UNI) This year Holi revellers can pull in their unwilling friends in the colour melee and yet get away with it without any resentment, thanks to vanishing colour sprays.

These fragrant colour sprays, now available in the markets, will vanish on their own within 40 seconds of spraying. Available in a range of colours, these can easily fool those who are averse to Holi celebrations.

Sitaram, a seller of Holi colours, said not many people are aware about these vanishing sprays. People would rather go for the traditional gulal, which takes some days to rub off rather than vanishing sprays.

The sale of vanishing sprays may not be as brisk as other colours mainly because they are slightly more expensive than gulal powders which are available from Rs two to Rs 10 per kg, Sitaram added.

Herbal powders, bereft of chemicals, are available in the range of Rs 150 to Rs 250 per kg.

Hrithik Roshan's ''Krish'' water canons are the popular items selling this year and are a favourite among children.
