IMFL worth Rs two lakh seized in Surendranagar, woman held

Surendranagar, Mar 3 (UNI) The police today seized Indian made Foreign Liquor (1MFL) and Beer worth about rs two lakh in Surendranagar city and a woman was arrested in this connection.

Acting on a tip-off, a police party raided the house in Housing Board in the city and recovered 598 bottles of IMFL and 152 bottles of beer valued at about Rs two lakh from the place.

A woman was arrested in this connection from the place, the police said. However, one another person was escaped, the police said.

Mumbai, Mar 4 (UNI) Fed-up of constant physical and mental harassment by her husband and in-laws for dowry, a 31-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in Vile Parle in western suburbs.
